Before the Sale

1. Get in touch

Email or call your auctioneer and tell them what you want to sell. Together you make an appointment to see each other and go through the object.

2. Get ready

Take out all the documentation about the object you would like to sell (service books, registration certificates, receipts and other things that may be needed). Now it’s time time for a little cleanup to the auction object because on the site, pictures and videos become your buyer’s first impression.

3. Get a visit from the auctioneer

The broker photographs, films and makes a description of your object. Then together you set a minimum price (reservation price) and within a few days the auction is started.

The lowest price you can think of selling for.

No, everything at Atsum is sold without a showing (unless otherwise stated). Atsum auctioneer is the only person you need to meet and go through the object with until the purchase is completed. The buyer’s bids are based on the auction documents.

If your item is sold, we charge a commission-based cost, which is governed by the amount of the sale. If the item is not sold, it costs nothing.

During the Sale

1. Usual life

The auction lasts from two weeks up to month (depending on the seller). In the meantime, we take care of all questions from speculators so you can work as usual.

2. Marketing your item

Your object is advertised worldwide via different channels. In addition, we ensure that your object reaches to our customers via newsletters and our social media. Feel free to share the link to your auction in your own channels!

In the auction flow at atsum.eu. Buyers can easily find it by selecting product category. Atsum also has a collaboration with different marketplaces worldwide, which makes your object visible to millions of people. We promote ongoing auctions through newsletters, social media and other digital advertisements.

You can follow the bidding in real time on the auction page.

When you and your auctioneer set a reserve price, it is your joint, personal estimate of the market value. Maybe it turns out to be a little too high or way too low. By not printing it out on the site, we let the market do the valuation itself. We hope and believe that it benefits both buyers and sellers.

If you have forgotten your details, you can contact Atsum sales support at info@atsum.eu.

After the Sale

1. Check your email

After the auction, you will receive an automatic email with the final price. If it was it higher than your reservation price, then congratulations your item is sold! If it was it a little lower than your reservation price, then a negotiation begins with customer who did the highest bid.

2. Negotiate

Sometimes the bidding ends below the reserve price. Then we take care of a negotiation between the buyer and you. The goal is to make a deal that everyone feels satisfied with.

3. Let the buyer collect

After the end of the auction, the buyer pays his invoice to us, then receives pick up authorisation with your contact details. The buyer has 10 days to collect the item after pick up authorisation is recieved.

4. Get paid

You have the money in the account no later than seven working days after the item has been paid for and picked up. If only the collection remains, you will still receive the money on the fifth working day of the month after the buyer has paid.

Is the item paid for and collected? You will then have the money in your account no later than seven working days after collection. If only the collection remains, you will still receive the money on the fifth working day of the month after the buyer has paid. The transfer of ownership for registered vehicles always takes place between the buyer and the seller at the time of handover. This means that the object handover-acceptance act is signed between the seller and the buyer. If you do not have the registration certificate, you can order one from the Transport Administration.

Atsum always ensures that any outstanding debts on the vehicle are settled before the new owner takes possession. In cases where Atsum takes over the ownership of the vehicle to settle debts, the transfer of ownership is carried out electronically based on the buyer’s account information. This may result in a few additional days for the ownership transfer process.
